The rotating cylinder makes this feel way more interactive than a normal dart blaster. My son loves loading each shell and then popping the casings out after every round.

I expected a light plastic toy but this feels surprisingly sturdy. The kick back motion and shell ejection make it the one everyone wants to try first.

He opened it and spent the next hour loading darts and ejecting the shells. The Vortex looks cool in green and the mechanics are easy enough for him to use alone.

The blaster is awesome and the cylinder works well. I would definitely add the extra darts and casings because the kids go through the included ammo fast.
